Tag, I'm It

Natsprat tagged me like, three weeks ago.  I'm finally making good on her challenge.  It's because I'm supposed to be packing for tomorrow's trip.

I tag Rich and Megan.

JOYS
1. John 3:16.
2. My family.
3. Our family hobbies:  photography, music, dance, jewelry making, and of course, reading your blog.

FEARS
1. Pressurized biscuit cans.
2. Scorpions, black widows and rattlesnakes.
3. White-faced clowns, especially the one's in those I Spy books.

GOALS
1. Sell stuff on Craigslist.
2. Get my masters degree in family counseling.
3. Have my own PBS TV show.  It will probably center around various types of kitchen disasters.

OBSESSIONS/COLLECTIONS
1. Guitars.  I own 5 full-size, (including 3 acoustic electric) one 3/4 size, (acoustic) and three "aren't they cute" miniature ones, (wouldn't it be fun if I could plug them in and play them, too. Then I'd really have to get a mini-amp which Rich says I can't until I sell my gordo keyboard amp first.)   Two of them have little cases.
2. Bookstores, especially ones with extensive magazine collections.
3. Semi-precious stones.

YOU MAY OR MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT ME
1. When I was 14, I got my first job at the Rancho Park Laundromat in Taos, NM.  I was an attendant.
2. My first theatrical role was Pig Pen, Charlie Brown's friend.  I was 15.
3. I learned how to ski when I was 9.  I also learned how to sew when I was 9.  You can't do both at the same time.
4. I don't multi-task.

Freezer (thermometer) Burn

Today's pre-heating-the-bottom-oven discovery is that freezer thermometers don't withstand 450 degree temperatures either. UM, I didn't notice the numbering started at -30 and only went up to 70.

Cat Burgler

This is just something that I remembered, so I'll post it! Like a month ago me and my next door neighbors the Joneses decided that we would dress up all in black and play night games. So this was my get up :) We all had names, mine was "Sleek", Tanner's was "Ghost", Taylor's was "T-dog", Ceanna's was "Camo", and Jayclin's was "Visible". It was pretty fun!

Tip Toe Dancer

So Here I am again! I just got whatever photo I have on the Dell computer... (my parents are on the Apple) This is of me when I got my pointe shoes like forever ago. As you can see they do not have ribbons yet. My dance teacher made us sew them on by hand. Meliss and Maria are obviously lucky since they got to sew them on with the sewing machine... but, I eventually sewed them on :) I did not sew the elastic on that actually holds it on your foot though, didn't ever get to that. Notice my jeans rolled up :)

:)

Well hello everyone! Mom invited me to post stuff on our blog!!! Well got to go find pictures to post :) . (By the way, this is Meg)

Meg, the Pool Shark

Megan joined the swim team this summer. She and the neighbor kids go every week morning at 8:00. We get to sleep in until 7:20 now. Last Saturday the Tiger Sharks team had a fundraiser and Megan swam 80 lengths of the pool, which equals about a 1 1/4 miles! Rich and I took turns tallying. First she started out doing freestyle, but then that made her side hurt, so she did one length of the pool backstroke but then hit her head on the wall coming back! So the rest of the time she did breast stroke. She says that the first hour of swimming she was so frustrated because there was a lifeguard sitting right in front of her lane, so naturally she felt like she was doing something wrong! But then eventually she left and Meg felt much better.

Even Her Lips Are Pursed!

This is an aerial view of Megan and her 67 purses and/or/handbags, ballet bags, scripture totes, knapsacks, etc. (This, by the way, is another installment on our addictions series that I promised I'd continue to write about. I know you've all been wondering whatever happened to the series.) She was cleaning her room and trying to fit them all into an 18 gallon Rubbermaid tote and 25 of them wouldn't fit. That means she got to give that many of them away. And I got to come down from the roof.
