Recent Events

Well as you have probably noticed, I love to do posts! This was originally my Mom's blog but she hasn't been doing anything so I took over! These are some pictures of what has happened lately.

Maria was kind enough to sew on my pointe shoe ribbons the night before my point class. My old shoes were way to tight.

She accidentally put one of the ribbons backwards so she had to unpick it.
Yesterday me and my mom went shopping at TJ Max for sheets and I saw this and showed my mom. We couldn't resist it and bought it! So now we can make one perfectly round pancake at a time!

The handle of the pan.

Well there ya have it! We also did another yard sale yesterday but I slept in because I was reading my book into the wee hours of the morning, so I didn't take any pictures. I am pretty sure that sooner or later I will post some pictures of my new pointe shoes :)

First week of fall photos

Nothing really exiting has happened lately so I took some pictures so you would have something to look at :)

Mom is going to learn how to play this on the guitar someday.

Samoan 9th Branch birthday party

Last Friday the Samoans had their 9th branch birthday party at the Bloomington Stake center. They called it a birthday, because they were celebrating the birth of the branch. Any who, here are some pictures of what went on :)
As soon as you walked in the door you were greeted by all these water bottles!
As always the Samoans go all out with the food.
These were all full of pork.

Mmm... lettuce.  They later had watermelon and cantalope on top of it.

They split us into groups, one side was the leaders and leaders only, the other side was the people who aren't leaders and the leaders children. These were our center pieces.
Yum... raw fish.  Mom says it's good.
Mom looking all pretty
Tanner Jones and Lori playing a game on a napkin.
The place was packed!

My dad and Bishop Jones going up to be honored by the Samoans.

They had entertainment while they were serving the food. I had a video of them dancing but it wouldn't upload.
After we were all done eating they turned on some music and everyone started dancing.

Mom and dad danced a lot.  I was the official photographer.

9/11

I know it's a little bit late but I would like to pay tribute to all the people that died on 9/11. These are a couple of newspapers that came out surrounding 9/11.

Yard Sale!

Can you believe it? We actually got rid of stuff!! We had a yard sale yesterday, so many people came which made us happy :) We made a total of 237 dollars and something cents. 120 of it is going to the Chatwin Family fund. Anyways! Here are some pictures of our yard sale.
Ah... I love the smell of money :) Olé!
Our moolah.
All of our yard sale stuff under the tarp.
Mom setting up.
Don't ask...
Our somewhat 5,000 pairs of airport confiscated scissors! It seems like everyone who came there bought at least 2 pairs or more!
